Event Venue
The CAESES User Conference 2024 will take place in the Mercure Hotel in Potsdam, Germany, right by the water of the river Havel and in the historic city center. The Potsdam main station, with connections to the German railway network, public transport, and the BER airport, is within easy walking distance and parking is provided in the hotel’s garage.

Workshops
On the first conference day (Monday, September 9), starting from 10:30, we will offer a selection of modular workshop sessions that can be combined to your liking. Depending of the specific topics, these workshops are aimed at advanced CAESES users, as well as beginners, and will offer demonstrations, hands-on exercises, insights, tips and tricks, and the opportunity to discuss problems you would like to solve with CAESES. A detailed description of the topics covered will be available soon, but there is still time to voice your wishes. Please use the comment field in the registration form below or get in touch.
Conference
Throughout the conference, invited speakers and CAESES users from near and far will talk about how to create the most competitive products on the market and effectively make use of CAESES. You can expect exclusive and fascinating insights into the simulation-driven design of powertrain components, ship hulls, yachts, propellers, pumps, and turbines.

Networking and Fun
Of course, there will be plenty of time to network with your fellow engineers, in the welcome reception, lunches, dinner, and coffee breaks. Due to popular demand, we are bringing back “Die Guten” for some musical entertainment in the evening!
Also, this year, you will have a unique opportunity to take a close look at and possibly even a test ride of the Elektroboot Eins – an ultra light carbon fiber and battery electric runabout.

Confirmation, Payment, and Receipt
A confirmation email will be sent shortly after you register. An invoice will be sent to you via email after the conference. All payments are due in EURO. Wire transfer is the accepted payment method. Please ensure that bank fees (exchange rate, transfer charge, etc.) are covered. On the wire transfer, please note the invoice number as a reference, as well as the name of the registrant(s). Wire transfer information will be included on the invoice.
Cancellation Policy
Registered attendees, who unfortunately cannot attend the conference, may be substituted by a colleague. Cancellation of your registration is free of charge until August 9, 2024.
Students
Attendees registering as students must submit a certificate of enrollment. The document should at least contain the name, name of the university, period of studies/end date of the enrollment. Please send this document to this email address. For the invoice, make sure you use the correct address, depending on who is taking over the payment for the event (private address vs. university address). CAESES Student Award winners can participate free of charge. Details for the Student Award 2024 can be found here.
Pictures
We plan to take pictures during the event, plus a nice group photo. By registering for this event, you agree that pictures will be published, for instance, on our website.

As in our previous user meetings, we are offering vendors from the CAE space different options to present themselves to our users.
