FRIENDSHIP SYSTEMS Sponsors the Aerovehicles 4 Conference

We are excited to be a sponsor of the Fourth International Conference in Numerical and Experimental Aerodynamics of Road Vehicles and Trains.

In collaboration with a team of engineers at Plastic Omnium a study on a “Numerical Optimization Thanks to Aerodynamic Data Measured on Wind Tunnel Around a Reduced Scale Model of a Ground Vehicle” was conducted, which will be presented at the conference.

The RBF morphing approach in CAESES 5 was used to modify the shape of the vehicle, on the basis of source and target curves.

Source (green) and target (orange) curves define the flexible shape modifications.
