For the second time DNV GL Maritime was offering students the chance to win the DNV GL Award for Young Professionals. The winning three students will each receive a cash prize of €1,000. Students could submit their master’s or bachelor’s thesis, or another paper, if it has been written within their study period and covers one of the following topics: Safer, Smarter or Greener.
This year, the winner of the category “Greener”, Victor Bolbot, used CAESES® for the optimization of the ship’s bow for the added resistance in waves.
