Check out our events section – there are two great webinars coming up: Pumps and Valves Webinar On January 18, 2018, we’ll talk about Design Studies and Optimization with CAESES and Simerics-MP. In this webinar, Simerics and FRIENDSHIP SYSTEMS…
Intake ports are the final part of an engine’s air induction system. They connect the intake manifold with the combustion chamber and are opened and closed with the intake valves. This blog post gives you a short introduction of the relevant intake port design capabilities within CAESES®. In addition, a recent project is outlined where CAESES® and STAR-CCM+ were coupled to fully automate the shape optimization of an intake port.
A piston bowl is a recess in the piston crown primarily used in (direct injection) Diesel engines, where it basically forms the combustion chamber. The design and shape of the piston bowl influences the movement of air and fuel during…
Thanks a lot to everyone who came to our CAESES booth at the Marinetec China 2017! It was a joy to talk to you about CFD-driven ship hull form optimization and propeller modeling. See you next year again! Thanks to…
Dear powertrain CFD engineers out there – we have a great deal for you! Have you ever been faced with one of these facts? The model, as you get it from your CAD department, is not suitable for CFD. Your…
MARIC (MARINE DESIGN & RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF CHINA), is one of the leading companies in the Chinese maritime industry, and is a relatively new user of CAESES®. One of their first projects using CAESES® is for in-depth research for container…
One of the major European CAE events, the CADFEM ANSYS Simulation Conference, is running right now! Come and meet us in Koblenz – we look forward to chatting with you about technology trends in the context of simulation-driven design tasks.…
Are you running optimizations on a cluster and don’t want to block your CAESES license while doing so? Are you using a third party optimizer and want to launch many CAESES instances in parallel to generate geometry variants? Then you…
We had a successful Chinese CAESES® Users’ Meeting 2017 last week – thanks to the amazing team of NJTF and the exciting attendees. This event was part of the Intelligent Industrial Design Technology Seminar, where professors and experts from well-known…
