CAESES User wins DNV GL YP Award

For the second time DNV GL Maritime was offering students the chance to win the DNV GL Award for Young Pro­fes­sion­als. The winning three students will each receive a cash prize of €1,000. Students could submit their master’s or bachelor’s thesis, or another paper, if it has been written within their study period and covers one of the fol­low­ing topics: Safer, Smarter or Greener. This year, the winner of the category ​“Greener”, Victor Bolbot, used CAESES® for the opti­miza­tion of the ship’s bow for the added resis­tance in waves.
