In this webinar you learn how you can analyze dif­fer­ent product designs by using a CAESES-CONVERGE coupled workflow. Per­form­ing an auto­mated design space explo­ration has a few chal­lenges. The geometry must be robustly param­e­trized and, in order to perform CFD analysis, the meshing must be com­pat­i­ble with each geometry that the design engine produces. The final chal­lenge is to make the process intu­itive and seamless for the user.

With CAESES, you can define para­me­ters that create a wide range of topo­log­i­cal changes in the geometry. With CONVERGE, the software auto­mat­i­cally gen­er­ates the com­pu­ta­tional mesh with ease. The Adaptive Mesh Refine­ment capa­bil­ity in CONVERGE auto­mat­i­cally refines the mesh during the CFD sim­u­la­tion to save time and effort. In this webinar, we show you how to param­e­trize a pro­peller model in CAESES and perform tran­sient flow sim­u­la­tions in CONVERGE on a set of pre-defined designs.
