Meet Us at the Trans­port Research Arena Con­fer­ence in Lisbon

We are excited to attend the Trans­port Research Arena (TRA) Con­fer­ence in Lisbon, Portugal from November 14 to 17, 2022 with a pre­sen­ta­tion on ​“Holistic Ship Design for Green Shipping”.

Respond­ing to the urgent needs for marine emis­sions reduc­tion, the recently com­pleted Horizon 2020 European Research project HOLISHIP (2016 – 2020) devel­oped suitable tools and software plat­forms, as nec­es­sary for the creation of inno­v­a­tive design solu­tions meeting the low emission strate­gic objectives.

The pre­sen­ta­tion includes the multi-objec­tive opti­miza­tion approach to green shipping of HOLISHIP and demon­strates a subset of its func­tion­al­ity by show­cas­ing a green RoPAX and a full electric Double-Ended Ferry.
