Meet us at the ​“Con­fer­ence on Computer Appli­ca­tions and Infor­ma­tion Tech­nol­ogy in the Maritime Indus­tries” (COMPIT 2021) on August 9 – 10 in Mülheim, where FRIEND­SHIP SYSTEMS is one of the event sponsors.

The paper ​“Para­met­ric Modeling and Hydro­dy­namic Opti­miza­tion of an Electric Cata­ma­ran Ferry based on Radial Basis Func­tions for an Intu­itive Set-up” will be pre­sented. The paper describes how the new morphing approach in CAESES 5 can be used to intu­itively modify an imported baseline design. By coupling CAESES and FINETM/​Marine short turn-around times and tangible improve­ments were achieved.
