CAESES Chinese Users Meeting — New Atten­dees Record!

We are excited to announce that this year more than 150 atten­dees joined the 3rd Con­fer­ence on Intel­li­gent Indus­trial Design Tech­nol­ogy in Nanjing which com­prised the CAESES® Chinese Users Meeting 2018. This annual event is orga­nized by our partner NJTF and it was a big success! 

CAESES Workshop

On the first day of the event, there was a CAESES® workshop for begin­ners. Based on a gasoline engine com­bus­tor model and an aircraft intake port, par­tic­i­pants learned how to create effi­cient para­met­ric surfaces and how to generate geometry variants automatically.

Opti­miza­tion Competition

There was also the announce­ment of the results from a ship hull opti­miza­tion com­pe­ti­tion. 11 entrants from 8 com­pa­nies designed a hull form using CAESES®, and all the designs were analyzed with CFD (Com­pu­ta­tional Fluid Dynamics) to compute the effec­tive power of the vessel as the objec­tive function. The first prize of this chal­leng­ing com­pe­ti­tion went to Mr. Liu Yang from SDARI. Con­grat­u­la­tions, impres­sive work!
