Mr. Bastian Ahlf 2 Report post Posted April 3, 2019 Hi, i have tried the suggested workflow to optimize a rotor of a fan with the use of CAESES in combination with Turbogrid and CFX and it works really well. For machines comprising several blades rows e.g. rotor and stator, is there a way to use the CAESES Turbogrid-Export feature? Because i have not found the option to export a second blade row. Ceyhan Erdem 14 Report post Posted April 4, 2019 Hi Bastian, Please check the attached tutorial for CAESES TurboGrid ACT App which is also included within CAESES. In order to include several components, let's say n rows of rotor, m rows of stator what you have to do is to create n+m (in this case) TurboGrid export features within your project. Please check and let me know if the problem is resolved. CheersCeyhan08_ANSYS_ACT_App_TurboGrid.pdf
Mr. Bastian Ahlf 2 Report post Posted April 4, 2019 Hi Ceyhan, two Turbogrid sessions are created for two export features - up to here it is fine. But is the script trying to update those two Turbogrid sessions simultaneously? Because i am receiving error messages. Unfortunately i have got only one Pre-license available... Kind regards Bastian
Ceyhan Erdem 14 Report post Posted April 4, 2019 Hi Bastian, They should be updating simultaneously. What kind of error messages do you get? Maybe you can share some screenshots with me. CheersCeyhan
Mr. Bastian Ahlf 2 Report post Posted April 6, 2019 Dear Ceyhan, as it seems the error message was a single phenomenon. Initially i was not aware CAESES creates Turbogridsessions for each export-feature. For me the issue is completely resolved. Kind regards Bastian
