Mr. Neukam Johannes 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2016 Hi, I just created a cylinder with two lids on each side. I would like to modify the surface of one of those lids, as I can do with the "planar b-spline surface" option for rectengular patches. Is there a way to add F3DPoints to the lid, or shape a "planar b-spline surface" like the lid? kind regards, Johannes
Mr. Simon Broenstrup 1 Report post Posted April 28, 2016 Hi Johannes, it is possible to do this kind of operation. To do so, I would recommend using a Free Form Deformation. I created a small example to show you how it works. For further information please have a look at the Free Form Deformation tutorials. Mr. Neukam Johannes 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2016 Hi Simon, thanks for the file, I got an error message, because at the moment I am using CAESES free for testing. maybe this is the reason, why I could not see any F3DPoints in your project? Hi Claus, sadly I cannot see the video, is it part of the tutorial? kind regards, Johannes
