I've read some tuturials but still do not have a proper model. I have both the stl file and a set of cloud points (in *.asc format) to start from, but need some help! Mr. Mattia Brenner 6 Report post Posted August 25, 2014 Hi Alexandre, I imported your STL-file and it looks a bit strange. It seems like the hull might be compressed in x-direction. Any idea? The best way to get started with a parametric hull model is to do the tutorial "Yacht Hull" (after some of the initial tutorials to get to know the basics of the software) In comparison to this tutorial it is only a matter of defining a different section topology and different longitudinal curves for your hull, but the method is the same.
