Mr. Chris Scheib 0 Report post Posted August 23, 2017 Hello All, I was recently conducting a CFD simulation using the software coupling functionality of CAESES with Converge CFD and the simulation crashed at about 33% completion. While the simulation was still being solved, CAESES produced a warning window stating "License Problem: An error occurred with the shared memory, used by the instance counter. This is critical! We have to close the CAESES." CAESES proceeded to involuntarily shutdown and upon reopening CAESES I was told my license was expired (which was not correct as it was renewed at the end of July). I was able to re-select my current license, and CAESES successfully proceeded to open. However, there was no history of my previous simulation or project file ever being opened. What could have been the cause of the initial crash as well as the license confusion? Thank you for the considerations! Chris Scheib
