Mr. Mattia Brenner 6 Report post Posted June 15, 2016 Hello everyone, here you can find the parametric model for the axial cooling fan that was used in the joint CAESES/SimScale webinars on June 15 and 22. In the webinars, I have explained how the model was set up and how it can be modified in order to improve different performance characteristics. More specifically, in the first session, I have given a brief introduction into the model and how to create manual variants, while in the second webinar I got into more details about the blade modeling and showed how to automatically generate variants using a design engine. You will need at least the free version of CAESES in order to work with the model. If you don't have CAESES or CAESES Free, yet, please get the free version from here. I hope you have enjoyed these webinars. Let us know here if you have questions concerning the model and fell free to browse the forum to find other models, as well as tips & tricks for your work with CAESES. The corresponding post in SimScale's forum concerning the simulation setup can be found here. Cheers,Mattia [EDIT]: In case you were not able to attend, you can find the recordings of the two webinar sessions hereaxialFan_SimScaleWebinar.fdb
