Creating a Lines Plan

Dear supporters,

 

I wanted to create a lines plan for my hull via SurfaceGroupLinesPlan. After submitting the necessary geometrical informations a error message appeared, stating:

 

*** INFO Command Parser : Invalid default value [Default value for argument paper (Value: A0) is invalid, assigning NULL.]

 

There is no item to select in the respective dropdown menu. I can check the box ''Allow Expression'' in the Tab ''Arguments'' but I don't think it has an impact on this.

 

Where can I assign a proper value to ''paper''? Is there something broken with the installation?

Hi Felix,

 

in order to run this feature you have to create a 2DScene first. You can do that by going to View > New > 2D Window Setup. 

This is also mentioned in the feature description.

Thank you Matthias, you're right, I could have read it more carefully.

I successed in creating the 2D Window and the feature.

After running it, CAESES displayed the error

 

*** INFO FDoubleIntCast : Cast warning: [fraction of value skipped]

 

I used values such as 0.35, double with a point as separator.

 

The lines plan is not yet displayed in the 2D Window.
