Hi, I'm using CAESES 3.0.18_Linux.x86_64 on Fedora 19 with KDE and it keeps crashing.

The crashes happen when I execute a command like 'Planar B-Spline Curve' and various other actions.

I tried running CAESES with the -no-gtk option but the crashes still happen.

There is a backtrace from gdb in the attachment to this post. Gdb complains about missing seperate debuginfo for many packages, but unfortunately I do not currently have the diskspace to install those.

The backtrace still contains info, but I'm not sure if it is useful to you.

CAESES_bt.tar

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Alex,

from the callstack it looks like there is a custom styleengine (Oxygen) involved.

Could you try starting CAESES with "-style plastique" to override the KDE styleengine? Another option could be to change the style in KDE settings.

If it still crashes, another backtrace would be helpful.

Cheers,

Stefan
