    Thanks a lot.

  2. Hey Aldi ,

On linux systems there is no need to install CAESES.

You only need to extract the archive.

Which is also stated below the download link on our website.

"For Linux, extract CAESES.tar.gz, change the working directory to the CAESES® folder and start with: ./CAESES"

    Hope this solves your problem.

    Cheers,

    Karsten

  3. Hi Aldi,

Great to have you on board.

In order to install CAESES on Linux you simply have to unpack the installation package to a destination of your choice.

Check out CAESES_Product_Registration.pdf in the unpacked folder for further instructions.

    Cheers,

    Stefan

  4. Hey Dietrich,

Unfortunately we cannot provide a .deb package.

Two options to solve the problem:

    1. You could download the CAESES archive again and extract it. Maybe the file got damage because it has not been completely downloaded.
    2. Check whether your archive manager can handle .tar.gz file. If it does not support tar.gz install an archive manager which does support tar.gz.

If none of these two options solve your problem do not hesitate to ask again.

    Cheers,

    Karsten
