Thank you soo much!!

Hi,
Perfect, it resolved everything.
One last thing, this feature creates N points on the sections that are with the same distance? For example in a curve 8 points, dividing the perimeter to seven and then we have the points?
Thank soo much, it was a huge help
Cheers

Hi,
I will try to explain me better.
In the feature that i am creating, the user can put the inputs as normally we do by putting values on the feature definition, the other way, is to get values form an ASCII file, but, sometimes, i do not have all the values that i need in the ASCII file having an empty line, and for these values i want the feature to assume the default values that i put on the argument tab when creating the feature.
The other problem is to refresh the values on the feature definition with the values that i get from the ASCII file.
Thank you soo much for trying to help me.
Cheers

Hi,
Thank you soo much for the help, its exactly this that i kneed but i the feature is given me an error.
It says:
Error: Line 23 [20,43]: Could not resolve command
Error: Line 24 [24,28]: Could not resolve object with name: pos
Do you know what is happening?
Thank you for everything,

Hi,
I need to create a feature to export some sections of the hull form with a certain number of points.
The ideal would be to import the GroupSection created outside the Feature and then process the sections and create the points that i need. I try to do this but i am not able to import the groupSection to the feature and then export to an ASCII file. Is there any way to do it?
The other possibility that i tough was to generate the sections inside the feature by intersection of surfaces and then dealing with the creation of the points. The problem is that the hull form is a group of different sections and i am not able to import them to the feature and to intersect them. Is there any way to do it?
Thank you soo much for the help

Hi,
I am creating a feature that importes some input values for the parameters that i used to create the hull model.
I want to import values from an ASCII file and i wonder if there is any command to set the default value of the argument tab, on the creation of the double parameters in case of an empty entry on the ASCII file.
Thank you soo much for the help

Hey,
Thank you so much. I am going to analyse and see if i get it.
Thanks again

Hey,
I know that but the problem is that i do not want to change the position of the start and end points of each F-Spline.
I need to have a certain value for the polycurve area and i was hopping to do it in a certain way (that i do know even if it is possible) like adjusting the values of the "fullness" of each F-Spline in order to have the sum of all the area with the value that i want. Is that possible? And i need to do it in a feature to use in a Curve Engine and then in a Meta-Surface
I do not have any value in the "area" of each F-Spline in the tree.

Hey
Thank you for the answer.
The problem is that i have a poly-curve with 4 F-Splines and i know every start and end point of each curve and also the sum of the 4 curves areas, but i do not know the value of the area of each curve.
Do you know a way to do this? Even if it isn't with F-Splines.
Thank you so much for the help.

I want to know if it is possible to transform a poly-curve into a curve or if there is any method to set the area of a poly-curve.
I have a poly-curve and i need to set its area. I know how to do it for a f-spline but i am not able to do it for a poly-curve and i would like to know if it is possible. In other types of CAD system we can do it by merging different curves, but in CAESES i do not know how to do it.
Thank you so much for the atention
