I want to be able to optimize a model implemented as an Excel workbook. I know that in CAESES there is a COM interface for connecting with Excel but I do not know how to use it and what are the functionalities available.

 

Could anyone give me some guidance on how to:

1. Connect CAESES with an existing Excel workbook file <*.xlsm>

2. Change values in some given cells

3. Read values from some given cells

4. Write results to a new Excel file

 

Some examples would be quite wellcome.
