Intersection curve crash

Hi there,

 

In the attached model, if SURFACE is set as the surface for the intersection curve (intersection with  principal plane) I get an error and CAESES crashes. This also happens if the same surface is intersected with another surface, not just in principal plane mode.

 

Is there a particular reason for this, or is it just a bug?

[Volute Tongue Modelling]

Hi,

 

I'm having some trouble generating a volute geometry, specifically the tongue area.

 

I have tried two different approaches but both don't give very clean results (see attached model). Does anyone have any ideas for how I could solve the problem?

 

Another issue I have encountered is that in one of my Breps which I have trimmed using a curved surface, the trim edge is subdivided into several straight edges (see attached image where one edge is selected) instead of one curved edge per surface. Does anyone know what the reason for this could be?
