Rename multiple Objects (add a Prefix)

Hey,

 

today I had to add a prefix to a large number of objects. I don't wanted to do it by hand for every object.

I have simply created a feature definition which does all the work for me. :-)

1. select all your object which should get a prefix
2. right click on the feature rename -> click execute defintion
3. add your prefix
4. click on execute

Feel free to change the definition to your needs and share it with us.

One change might be to add a suffix.

 

In my example I've created several points and want to change the name from ntXX to pntXX.
