Ms. Carola Freytag 0 Report post Posted March 26, 2019 Hello, i want to connect CAESES with Ansys and I'm trying to set relative paths in the .fsc Script so I can copy the entire project to other workspaces and don't need to change the CAESES Script.Do you have any idea how to set relative paths? Thanks a lot! Mr. Claus Abt 14 Report post Posted March 27, 2019 HI Carola,I am not completely sure which path you want to set in the script. If you are using a software connector to run Ansys there is an option to define relative paths at the input files directly, see below.CheersClaus
Jörg 29 Report post Posted March 27, 2019 Another note: If you have an export command in your fsc-script, simply use relative names as shown in this example:
Ceyhan Erdem 14 Report post Posted March 28, 2019 Hi Carola, Are you using the ACT app for CAESES within ANSYS workbench? If so for each ANSYS DesignPoint you will have a separate CAESES Project with its related folders. At this point ANSYS is the tool that controls where the folders would be located. Please let me know if you need further assistance. CheersCeyhan
