Mr. Keegan Karbach 0 Report post Posted June 16, 2018 I'm attempting to create a workflow for my university creating variable geometry in CAESES, exporting into GridPro (with automation from another post in this forum pertaining to a catalytic converter), then using an OpenFOAM script to run simulations. I want to be able to very both geometry and various parameters of the apparatus (moving wall velocity specifically). 1) I have the initial geometry designed without design parameters and am having trouble exporting into the GridPro STL type... Error: INFO Grid Pro Export : warning [no supported objects available] I have a closed BREP and a trimesh from the BREP, but the exported file is empty (hence the error) 2) Any help with getting the above workflow would be greatly appreciated!!!! Thank you!~Keegan
Mr. Carsten Fuetterer 9 Report post Posted June 18, 2018 Hi Keegan, you can also take the export type STL (Extract Colors). With that a stl file for each colored boundary will be created. I will check with the developers why the GridPro Export is not working as expected. best regards Carsten
