Mr. Nitin Garg 0 Report post Posted October 3, 2017 Hi, I am trying to model a volute geometry in CAESES with one design variable. In CAESES, I have only one surface, however, when I import the same geometry in ANSYS, I am getting some 300 surfaces/faces. This is really messing up the meshing part and the optimization part. I already tried exporting the geometry in .step and .iges, but no improvement. I will highly appreciate if you can suggest some ideas for the same.
