shipflow offset from iges

Recommended Posts

Shipflow is being unable to create offset during the basic running of shipflow. "xoffgen.exe stopped working" - message is showing. But I can't figure out the problem of my iges file. Why is it occurring? Any help please?

Hi,

Difficult to tell without more information (surfaces, fdb model, IGES output, ...). Maybe you can get in touch with Flowtech to find out more details about the problem, probably it is not related to CAESES. I can also see that you are using quite an old version of CAESES (formerly called FRIENDSHIP-Framework), which makes it even harder for us to detect the cause.

Best regards

Joerg

Thanks for your kind reply. Is there any forum of flowtech :( I haven't found any. So why I am asking here. I am in a great fix. Can you please look into this matter since you are an expert. I am providing you more photos of my problem.  I will be really grateful to you.

I got the details in the TaskMonitor:

Conversion completed...

Preparing offset path:

Preparing offset input file: container

Preparing offset output file: .stl

Hull type: 0.0

done.

XFLOW:OFFSET:YSIGN is changed to -1

Hi,

Once again, without really seeing the surfaces we cannot give you a guess for the problem (probably the surfaces have some issues or some SHIPFLOW input is not correct etc). I have to say I am also not a SHIPFLOW expert which is the reason why I recommended to talk to Flowtech (try this address: info@flowtech.se). If any of my colleagues have some experience or idea, they will post as well.

Sorry for not being able to help more detailed,

Joerg
