RAPID integration, result visualization

MARIN has recently released a new version of their potential flow code Rapid (version 4.4), which comes with a very nicely documented Custom Integration for CAESES / FFW. The project attached shows an integration for a monohull design.

For full use of the documentation, you can simply right click on the configuration (1) in the connections tab and start the wizard (2).

 

For documentation on individual items, move your mouse across the item. The documentation will be displayed in the wizard after a short moment.

 

If you have executed Rapid once for your particular design, please make sure that you toggle the "remove existing result files" at the computation, see picture below.

 

Otherwise Rapid might interpret old results from the previously executed run.

Hi!

Can you tell me which version of CAESES was used in this integration.

Or is RAPID also supported by the newer versions of CAESES?

It should be compatible, creating no problems.
