Mr. Simon Link 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2014 Dear all, Is there any way to install CAESES silent/unattended? I've tried it with several parameters, like CAESES-FFW_3.0.19_win64.exe /qCAESES-FFW_3.0.19_win64.exe /sCAESES-FFW_3.0.19_win64.exe /silent but it didn't work. Jörg 29 Report post Posted May 12, 2014 Hi Simon, Welcome to this forum! As far as I know there is no way to do that. What is your motivation for this? CheersJoerg
Mr. Simon Link 0 Report post Posted May 12, 2014 Thanks Joerg. A silent option would be very helpful for our software deployment system. B)

Mr. Arne Bergmann 27 Report post Posted May 12, 2014 Hi Simon, There actually is a silent mode that is used for the update process. It's not really straight forward though, as it's normally only used internally and so far we had no request for making it available for the users. Try the following: CAESES-FFW_3.0.19_win64.exe update "" /D=<folder to install>This will automatically install, however, the installer will not exit by itself (you need to press "next") and CAESES will be started automatically afterwards, but maybe this is already helpful for you. Also, if the user starting the installer like this is an admin this will trigger the windows UAC even if the given target folder does not require admin rights (that is not the case if running it as a "regular" user). We will try to make a real silent install available as soon as it fits the schedule. CheersArne
