Carlos Simões 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2023 Hello, I'm experiencing some trouble while generaing my ship hull model using CAESES. I'm attaching my model for reference. I don't know why the section of the aftbody won't match the derivatives on the transom and on the forward part of the aftbody. I know there's some issue with zMid, but I've checked the code and everything a lot of times and still can't find any error. As you can see, there's also an error output: *** INFO |f => |inputImage : warning [cannot compute intersections]. Maybe it's related to the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Best regards, Carlos Shiphull_PM2.cdbc
Ceyhan Erdem 14 Report post Posted May 22, 2023 Hi Carlos, You had to issues that caused the problem. 1. The Z value of point1 for the curve weightStart was 0. It should be changed to 1 or to some other reasonable value. 2. The default value of Number of Sections in MetaSurface is 15. Increasing this number would improve the surface resolution. For example, 30 in this case. Cheers Ceyhan
