The short cut for auto-completion (CTRL + Space) activates the the language input keys of my keyboard.

 

Go to Control Panel > Regional and Language Options> Click the Languages tab and select the Details button > Click the Key Settings button > double click each entry in the "Hot keys for input languages" list and uncheck the checkboxes.
