  1. Hi Furkan, at the computation object, there is an option to set a list of constraints. If one of these constraints is violated, the computation will not be executed for that design. Cheers, Mattia
  2. Hi George, unfortunately, I am not able to help with the 1 open edge that is shown in the info. But I have two tips which might help in solving your issues: Is there a specific reason you want to use a trimesh to transfer the geometry to STAR-CCM+? You can also export BRep geometry directly, see the export menu "STEP (STAR-CCM+)". Using a STEP file works very well, as far as I know, and you can also use coloring for boundary identification, just as with an STL export. You say your trimesh is created from a BRep, in which case you can adjust the tessellation settings at the BRep, see the attached picture. Cheers, Mattia
  3. Hi Yukai, "Source Objects" is a list. Therefore, the individual list items should be separated by "," rather than "+". Cheers, Mattia
  4. Hi Clara, you are right. Unfortunately, the documentation hasn't been updated for the latest version. Now, you will find the (FSC) script export here: The command to export individual objects as STL is <objectName>.exportSTL(FString fileName), so, e.g., |05_export|flowDomain.exportSTL("impellerFlowDomain.stl") for the impeller sample file. Cheers, Mattia
  5. Hi Clara, you can find information about how to set up a script file for controlling CAESES in batch mode in the corresponding section in our documentation: Let us know if you have additional questions. Cheers, Mattia

  13. The easiest way to flip the normal of a given surface is by reversing one of the surface directions u or v. In a NURBS/B-Spline surface this can be done with the command .reverse(1,0) or .reverse(0,1). In a Metasurface you can reverse start and end position or you create an image surface and in the u or v domain you enter [1,0] instead of [0,1].
